A multistate attorneys general settlement offering a $2,000 incentive to owners and lessees of certain 2009–2016 Mercedes-Benz and Sprinter BlueTEC II diesel vehicles who install the free Approved Emission Modification (AEM). Mercedes denies wrongdoing. The deadline of September 30, 2026 has passed, so this settlement is closed.

Who qualifies
Current and former owners and lessees of eligible model-year 2009–2016 Mercedes-Benz or Sprinter BlueTEC II diesel vehicles who have the AEM installed at an authorized dealer between August 1, 2023 and August 31, 2026. Eligibility is not limited by state.
