We keep this simple because we collect very little. Unclaimed Guide is an information site — you claim your money on the official state site, not here.

What we do not collect

We never ask for or collect your Social Security number, and we do not process your unclaimed property claim. Claims happen on the official state portals we link to, under those agencies’ own privacy terms.

What we do collect

• Analytics. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which guides are useful. This does not identify you personally.
• Advertising. When advertising is enabled, ad partners may set cookies to show relevant ads. Where required, we present a consent banner so you can accept or decline non-essential cookies.
• Email (optional). If we later offer alert emails and you sign up, we use your address only to send what you asked for. You can unsubscribe anytime.

Your choices (CCPA/GDPR)

The site is served over HTTPS. We use no dark patterns and no fake countdown timers.
